Welcome to the Lop Rabbit Club of America
Welcome to the Lop Rabbit Club of America (LRCA) webpage. First, thank you for stopping in for a visit. Whether you’re new to the world of rabbits or an existing member of our club, the pages within are full of historical and educational information, dedicated to English and French Lops. My favorite read will always be the about us section. Did you know the English Lop is said to be one of the oldest rabbit breeds or that the French Lop was created around 1850? With continuous review of our standards, an outreach to educate, and a major emphasis on youth, the LRCA remains one of the strongest clubs in existence. That strength doesn't exist without you, our members. If you are considering a rabbit breed, I encourage you to reach out to myself or a member of the board. Let us share all the benefits that comes with either or both these breeds and how French and English Lops will have a lasting impact on your life.
In closing, I’ll touch on the best benefit of becoming a member of the LRCA. That is the creation of an extended family. The friendships and bonds created within our organization will last a lifetime and have become treasures I will forever cherish. To those with the initial vision in 1971 to create our club fast forward to the person considering the King of the Fancy as a hobby, I thank you. With our past firmly documented, our future is in your hands!
